Why our dashboards?

Primary DATA

The data and analysis provided here is delivered from the service level, the service availablity data is self reported and updated continuously, the trauma care data is collected from implementing partners on a structured routine system. The outbreak analysis is directly captured from sentinel sites. The medical supplies data is a collation from delivery notes and the training data is captured from attendance registers. The presented products are demand driven and relate directly to field planning and response delivery.

Planning and Monitoring

The data and information provided in this dataset, is collected and collated from a broad range of data collection tools and systems. Data has been collected from all the lines of activities that contribute to the health emergency response In Afghanistan. These activities range from ensuring the availability of health resources (HeRAMS), monitoring the supply of trauma response services, monitoring outbreaks, tracking trainings and presenting static products relevant to response activities.

Multi-dimensional

The data is multi-dimensional i.e. it combines all the data from all the interventions and activities, it also incorporates some of the baseline data about health resources availability and coverage of primary health centres in areas that are currently underserved.

high quality

The presented data undergoes many high rigour processes to ensure high quality and credible analysis. The collected data is rigoursly validated with quality control rules and best practice methods applied throughout the data flow framework. Other checks for timeliness, completeness and consistency are all applied and cross validated.
